Star wars battlefront death star dlc
Star wars: the old republic
Even though Star Wars fans have been gushing about the new video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order since it was released last month, there’s still one game that has only gotten better since its release over two years ago.
Star Wars: Battlefront II may be a bit repetitive, but the growth and expansion of the game over the past two years has greatly improved gameplay and given fans what they really wanted out of a Star Wars game like this. The next couple months are going to improve the game even more with the arrival of Star Wars Battlefront II The Rise of Skywalker DLC. Check out the trailer for the game expansion pack below.
As you can see, not only is the new jungle planet Ajan Kloss a new environment that fans will be playing on, but there are new versions of Kylo Ren, Finn and Rey as playable characters. Plus, the new Jet Troopers are swarming the Resistance base in the jungle, as are the new red Sith Troopers. Could this be teasing a sequence in the movie where the First Order finds the Resistance base? Or is this cinematic created just to show off the game engine and Rise of Skywalker additions?

Along with the new setting, the game will include a new mode called Battle Station, which is a battle in three parts. The first part is a space battle, followed by firefight inside the space station, and concluding with the famous trench run.
The first takes us through a single-player run of the game’s Fighter Squadron mode. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about this preview (besides Battlefront‘s still stunning graphics) is the relative competence of the AI enemies that seem to put up a fair fight throughout. Take a look:
Of course, the skirmish mode action won’t be entirely limited to single-player shenanigans as it will also offer players the chance to enjoy Battlefront with a friend via split-screen multiplayer for this first time. This second video gives us a brief glimpse at what couch co-op fans will have to look forward to when they hop into the game’s Walker Assualt mode with another player:
Announced as part of the Star Wars Celebration Europe jamboree, the Death Star DLC will, as its name implies, take us into the sleek corridors of the Empire’s deadly battle station. The expansion will bring in two new playable characters—Chewbacca and the lizard-faced bounty hunter Bossk, and there’ll be a few extra weapons, cards, and other additions, too.

DICE and EA are about to finally release the next big DLC/expansion to Star Wars Battlefront, called Death Star. I’ve shared the initial announce and first details a while ago, now it’s time to take a deeper look at what’s coming to the game on 20th September (access if you have a Season Pass).
Everyone’s favorite Wookiee, Chewbacca, and the Trandoshan hunter Bossk make their debut on the battlefront as two new playable heroes in the Death Star digital expansion. Both were designed around the pillar of “mayhem” with the hope that hero encounters in the otherwise orderly Death Star are more dynamic than they have ever been. Here are some key details on these iconic characters to make sure you are ready to board one of the deadliest battle stations in the galaxy, the Death Star.
Bossk is one of my favorite characters in Star Wars, definitely my favorite bounty hunter. I was so happy to get the Trandoshan-Wookie face-off in the game. We took a lot of inspiration from Trandoshan lore, particularly the Clone Wars animated series, which was a great feeling to bring to life in Battlefront. I wanted Bossk to feel like a destructive and nasty opponent who would also have the skills to escape dangerous situations. He is an enemy that you just can’t get rid of and his sustainability on the battlefront is higher than most.
It includes expansion packs for the Death Star, Outer Rim, Bespin and Rogue One: Scarif, as well as 20 new pieces of galactic tech (including weapons, vehicles and Star Cards for Rebels and Imperials).
Returning characters include Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo and Darth Vader, while previously announced new characters such as Rey, Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren and Yoda are joined by the surprise inclusion of General Grievous.
